A run record answers only part of the question
A system may record a trigger, an action, and each run. Those records help reconstruct activity. They do not necessarily identify who approved the recurring run, the business purpose it serves, or when the organization should reconsider it.
Treat the trigger as part of the authority
Add unattended schedules and event triggers to the authorization record. Name the person accountable for the runs, state the business reason, define the permitted effect, and set a review date or change condition.
Connect offboarding to active triggers
When an owner leaves or changes role, identify the schedules and event triggers they approved. Suspend a trigger until a new accountable owner reviews and accepts it. A reassigned agent does not by itself show that the new owner approved every recurring action.
